Today has been a pretty good day! I got a call and interview for a job that I applied for which was awesome! I really hope that I can get this job. It would be so nice if I could work on campus. My brother's basketball team also  won tonight. From what I hear, it was a pretty intense game! I wish I could've been there, but school first... :( I don't really have much for news today. However, I'm super tired and need to get some rest.

It is ONLY Monday....! Anyway, today was a pretty good day. :)

I signed my lease for my apartment next year today! I am living with my friends Samantha and Marta. They are such nice girls, and I am looking forward to living with them!

Also, I was able to watch my brother's basketball game tonight. His team played at the Target Center so it was super close to where I live! My mom, Kari, and my uncle, Mike, picked me up after my classes, and we went out to eat at Five Guys in Dinkytown. Five Guys has thee best burgers! I would trade a million MacDons for this place! It reminds me of In-n-Out Burger if any of you have heard of that. It was nice to spend some time with them tonight. :)

I just finished some homework, and I am off to bed. :) My favorite part of my day during the week...SLEEP!

Lastly, Matt's mom Kate is doing better today!! I posted about her situation last night, and she is still at a hospital here in the cities. However after Matt visited her today, he said that her sentences made sense and didn't seem so confused. This is such great news! Even though this is great to hear, I am still praying for her and that she continues to feel better. I would appreciate it if you mentioned her in your prayers tonight too.

sooooo i realize i am a bit behind....!! i had such an eventful weekend !!

Friday: I had lunch with my Mom. :) It was so nice to hang out with her! Afterward, I hung out with my boyfriend, Matt. I helped him take care of his dog Tally's puppies!! soooo cute! Then I went grocery shopping with my mom, and we watched a movie when we got home.

Saturday: I went with my boyfriend and his family to a wedding! It was so nice to be included in this special event. I really enjoy spending time with Matt's family and getting to know them more. Overall we all had a fun night! :) pics to come!

Today: My Mom and Grandma Kay Couch hosted a bridal shower for my cousin, Kaylyn! I am happy for her as she starts a new life with her fiance, Kale, and new baby! Life is wonderful, and today is a reminder that we should be thankful for those in our lives . :)

Lastly, Matt's mom Kate was hospitalized today after a snow tubing accident. She was knocked unconcious and is now in a hospital in the cities. My prayers go out to her, and I hope she receives good news tomorrow. She is such a fun loving person and always makes me feel welcome at their house. A mama like this would appreciate your prayers tonight too.

Hello Bloggers!
I just got back from my brother's basketball game. It was a super intense game the whole time, but they WON! Ryan had 32 points and is a senior this year in high school. I am so glad that I came back to watch him play. It is nice to see my family and spend time with them. I also get to see my boyfriend Matt..which is a plus :) !

I still cannot download my family picture:( However, today was a good day! I was very productive, and I was even able to take a nap this morning! ( This morning because I had a 2 hour break today between classes....!!) I really hope this semester will fly by. I am ready for summer because I am reminded everyday in Minnesota that it is winter. I don't like the cold! I am convinced that I will need to live in the south when I am older and graduate from college. Anyway I am going to read for yet another class so good-bye for now!

So I discovered that I did not have to start my 100 days until this week! This past weekend was eventful...it was my roommate`s birthday! Although it was fun, I am glad to be back in class again. I have some pretty interesting and fun people in my classes! Anyway I did not have a picture of my full family last week.

apartment at school. Beautiful ladies!! :)

 This is one of my best friends, Ali. She recently transferred

 to another school...I miss her so much already! It has been

 hard to see her leave, but hopefully I will be visiting her soon!

 Currently, this is the only picture I have of my brother on my computer.

He is on the far left. I consider Ryan to be one of my best friends. :)

 He is always there for me. Next year he will be attending Minnesota

 State University at Moorhead on a basketball scholarship! I am

 so proud of him, and maybe his friend Andy, in the middle, will be joining him!

 Puerto Rican, and I happen to be Peruvian! I am very

 proud of my ethnicity. I was adopted November 12, 1991

 by my parents Scott and Kari. I am so thankful for

 the life I have been given.

We all went to high school together, and I love when they are able to visit

 me at college. Tana is on the left, and Samantha is on the right. We have

such fun times together!

100 days of.....

My name is Morgan Benoy, and I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Minnesota. This is my first blogging experience, and I'm hoping I will get the hang of things quickly! My reason for starting this blog is actually pretty interesting. I am currently in a class at the university where we are doing a project. The title of the project is "100 Days of..." and we are supposed to choose something to do for 100 days! After 100 days, we will have to analyze and evaluate what we chose to do. This is all related to our topic of everyday life and its meanings. I actually am really curious as to what will come about during these 100 days...... :) I will mostly likely be sharing things about my everyday life as of right now, but if I get rolling of something....things just might change! I hope you can join me for this project and my first experience as a BLOGGER!!
