Prom dresses

SOOOO I am looking up prom dresses...there were so many pretty ones. I looked some up on Teen Vogue! This dress is super cute and understated. I can't really imagine wearing this kind of dress to prom, but it works! Definitely if you were a younger classman.

So I am surfing the web...lol Rihanna!! I think that she is just so gorgeous and talented! I got to see her in concert this last summer and she was really good. She would be someone that I would actually want to meet in person. She is also from Barbados which I think is pretty cool. She has pictures from there and it looks gorgeous! VACATION!!!!

and...ITS SUNDAY!

Today I came back to the cities early in the morning. I went with Matt and his family to his regatta at Lake Phalen. I have never been to something like this before! It was actually really fun! Matt is really involved in crew and I reallly wanted to see what it was all about. The lake had a beach surrounding it so it was really relaxing to watch. There were LOTS of people there, and many people were grilling food and had their dogs there. Matt's sister Alyssa and I were trying to meet as many dogs as we could! There were so many cute ones :) !! I am glad that I got to experience this though, and Matt said that he really appreciated me coming to see what he has been working so hard for. Now, I am just doing homework.... :( I prepared my notecards for tomorrow for Spanish. I am really anxious to see what our topic is going to be! It will be such a nerve wracking day! Afterwards, I have my oral interview for my LPE exam (Language Proficiency Exam). I am going to get a lot of huge things out of the way..but it will be a tad stressful! Wish me luck! A Proud Sister:)

Saturday was quite an eventful day! In the morning I did my laundry and packed up to go home for the night. Afterwards, I went out to eat for late lunch/early dinner. I was asked out on a date by a boy that I am friends with. Connor and I had a good time, and it was nice to go out and do this. I do not want another boyfriend right now, but it was nice to be asked out! Plus, he is a nice and cute guy! After lunch, my aunt and cousins picked me up to head home. I was glad to see my parents, dog Reggie, and my other cousins when I arrived home. It felt good to be home!! Last night was also prom at my high school. My brother brought a girl in his grade who was originally not going. She is autistic, and sometimes has a hard time at school. He offered to bring her to prom so that she could have a great night and add to better high school experience for her. I thought that it was extremely amazing of him to do this for her. I was really proud of him last night. My brother truly has his heart in the right spot. He is so humble, unselfish, smart, caring....he will make one lucky girl very happy someday. I was just so moved and actually teared up when he was walking at the grand march. I am lucky to have such an AMAZING brother and best friend:) Morgan Andrea

Time with Some Great Friends!

Friday night I went over to my friend Jared's with one of my bests and future roomie, Sam! We had a lot of fun just hanging out and being silly. We danced to our favorite songs, went hot tubbing (Jared's apartment building has one! How awesome huh??!!), and attempted to watch a movie....we all fell asleep... It was a great night overall! It is always nice to spend time with friends and just enjoy each other's company. Morgan Andrea

Today was a lazy day. I have been looking over verbs for Spanish. Tomorrow I have my LPE writing exam. I am very nervous for this. I have to pass all parts of my exam to continue on with my Spanish Minor. I know that i have done well with the writing portions of my other exams for spanish. This makes me feel more confident. I should get back to some studying though!! Goodnight! Morgan :)

Week in Review: Saturday

Yesterday was very eventful! Me and Ali got up and went shopping at Rosedale Mall. Ali had not gone shopping in a long time and she really wanted to go. We had a lot of fun, and it was great to spend some one on one with her! We got back and we went to the big concert for Spring Jam with my roommate Ariana, my roommate from last year Claire, and her roommate Julia. It ended up raining...but it did not stop us from having fun at the concert! Later after the concert, I went to pick up Matt from a wedding that he went to for a friend that he had when he was in ROTC at St.Thomas. By this time, it was super late and I went to bed after. Overall, it was a great day!

Week In Review: Friday

Friday was Spring Jam allllll day! My friend Ali came from LaCrosse which was super nice! I miss her so much and it was really great to have her here again. We all got to hang out and see a lot of our friends. There was also a concert on Friday for Spring Jam, but I was working. However, I did get to register for my classes Friday which was awesome! It felt good to get registered and get into ALL the classes that I wanted. Morgan :)

Week In Review: Thursday

Thursday came and it was such a relief. I was done with exams and papers for the week!It was nice to know that the pressure was lifted off my shoulders. I got to see Matt on Thursday also. He came over to do some homework and then we went out to eat Chinese. He was leaving early the next day to go to Iowa for rowing. It was nice to be able to see him for a little while before he had to leave to go to his event. I was also excited because Spring Jam started Thursday, so during the day me and Becca, who works with me at the Parent Program, were able to go and take pictures of all of the events going on! Week in Review: Wednesday

Wednesday was really exciting! I got to meet with my new advisor for the College of Education and Human Development. My new advisor's name is Rebecca, and she is very nice and super helpful! I was able to meet with her and schedule out the rest of my classes for the rest of my time here. I was glad to hear that I can graduate on time and still be able to study abroad if it is at all possible. This was really good news to hear! It makes me more confident as I move on and start my career! Morgan! :)

Week in Review: Tuesday

Tuesday was a very busy day!! I had to study for my Spanish tests that were on Wednesday and Thursday and finish revising a paper for Thursday. Overall, it was a day for work!!!

Week in Review: Monday

Like I said....this week was productive and school is almost over! Monday I had the opportunity to meet with an event planner with my boss and co-worker to talk about Parent's Weekend 2012. I really love my job at the Parent Program! It is so much fun, and the people there are really great. This event is going to turn out to be really fun, but also a lot of work. I am confident though that everything will work out to be okay. Morgan Andrea

It has been awhile since I last blogged.... :( However after spring break, it gets hectic. I work everyday,do homework, maybe go to yoga, and then BED! I have been quite busy and school is almost pve:-)
